Officers responded to the eastbound side of the highway near mile marker 171.6 around 7:45 p.m. on March 22, where a white Chevrolet Equinox had hit a guide-rail head on, North Coventry police said.
Sandy Zazueta, 35, of Pottstown, was the sole occupant and driver of the car, police said.
Zazueta was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, authorities sayd.
She refused testing and was processed and released to a sober adult.
DUI and other traffic related charges were filed against Zazueta through District Court 15-3-01.
